Hey, I’m Soph! I’m a fun, down-to-earth wedding photographer with a passion for capturing colourful, playful, soulful moments that you’ll treasure forever. 

I’m a self-taught photographer with over 6 years of experience in the fashion and lifestyle industry. I transitioned into wedding photography after lockdown, seeking more meaningful connections and experiences. This is when I fell head over heels for the magic of weddings—the love, the laughter, and the unforgettable stories.

I’ve been lucky to grow up with a very creative supportive family. My dad is a photographer, so there were always cameras lying around and our home was overflowing with photographs. I knew from a young age that I had an obsession with imagery and I loved watching my dad bring out the joy in people’s faces. It always looked like such a fun, heart-felt job. 30+ years later and here I am, capturing one of the most joyful events!

My Approach

As a self-confessed romantic, photographing couples on their wedding day is the most rewarding work I have ever done. I’m a devil for the details, a people person and my clients (now BFFs) praise me for my ability to make them feel at ease. 

As someone who hates having their photo taken (thanks Dad!) I know how awkward it can feel, and that’s why I’m here to guide and reassure you every step of the way. So, let’s be silly together and embrace the awkwardness of having your photo taken. Once we’ve had a few laughs about your ‘blue steel’ look, trust me - you’ll forget the camera’s even there. I have a cheeky habit of becoming your best friend, resulting in images that feel real and jam-packed with emotion. My approach is to be myself and that’s all I ask of you.

These photographs are meant to be printed and cherished. I would love nothing more than to see these memories painted on your walls and when you’re celebrating your 50th wedding anniversary, you can look back at these photographs and re-live the magic over and over again. I will go above and beyond to ensure I capture every unique moment from your wedding day, this includes standing in a thorny rose bush to get “the shot!”
